Filmed in 1964 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, this live concert documentary captures performances from major rock and pop acts of the era. Director Steve Binder assembled an extraordinary lineup featuring British Invasion bands like Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, Gerry and the Pacemakers, and the Rolling Stones alongside American performers including Chuck Berry, James Brown and the Flames, Jan and Dean, Lesley Gore, and Motown stars. The result is a high-energy music spectacle showcasing nearly two hours of essential performances that defined 1960s popular music.

This Collector’s Edition DVD from American International Pictures runs 123 minutes and carries an IMDb rating of 8.3. The release notably restores the long-lost Beach Boys performance, a significant addition to what was previously available only in incomplete bootleg versions. Director Steve Binder provides audio commentary explaining the history of the restored footage. Own this landmark rock-concert film on a single disc at a used price that makes it accessible to music history enthusiasts.
