Frequently asked questions
What is in the box?
Five or ten different DVDs in the genre you picked, chosen by hand from our shelves. Every disc is hand-checked and certified refurbished: cleaned, play-tested, and packed in a wiped case with its artwork. The exact titles are the surprise.
Do I pick the titles?
No, and that is the fun of it. You pick the genre and the size; we pick the titles. There are no repeats inside a box.
Is this a subscription?
No. A Surprise Genre Box is a one-time purchase. If you want movies every month, our Movie Subscription Box does that, with your genres and box size.
If the discs are used, will they play?
Yes. Every disc is checked and play-tested before it goes in the box. We never ship discs with excessive scratches, dents or fingerprints.
What if I get something I already have?
Give it to someone you love. If you already own it, we are guessing it is because you love it; pass the joy along.
How much is shipping?
The 10-pack ships free. A 5-pack on its own ships USPS Media Mail for $4.99, and any order of $24.99 or more ships free.
Where do you ship?

Do I get to keep everything?
Everything we send you is yours to keep forever. No returns, no due dates, just a growing collection.
