Peak Practice is a British medical drama that premiered in 1993, following the professional and personal lives of Dr. Beth Glover and her colleagues at a general practice in the rural Derbyshire village of Cardale. Created by writers including Lucy Gannon and Tony Etchells, and directed by Antonia Bird and others, the series explores the complexities of doctor-patient relationships against the backdrop of English countryside life. The first season examines how rural medical practitioners navigate both the medical challenges and human stories of their patients.

This UK release comes on 2 DVDs in PAL format, Region 0, with a total runtime of approximately 7 hours and 5 minutes. The set includes all eight episodes of the inaugural season, presented in English with Dolby Digital Stereo sound and featuring interactive menus and scene selection. Note that this PAL disc will not play on standard US DVD players and requires a multi-region or PAL-compatible player for viewing in North America.
