Monty Python’s Flying Circus is a British sketch comedy series that debuted in 1969, created by and starring Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, and Terry Jones alongside the rest of the troupe. This volume collects episodes 20-22 from the second season, featuring the group at their creative peak as they subvert television conventions with absurdist humor. Sketches include The Attila the Hun Show, a wildlife segment about mosquito hunters, an exploration of the village idiot’s role in society, and various other anarchic bits that showcase the Pythons’ willingness to abandon sketches mid-way or offer unexpected tonal shifts.

Released on DVD by A&E Home Video, this single disc contains the three episodes with an IMDb rating of 8.8. Several sketches from these episodes were later adapted for the group’s first film and appeared on their early records. Own this piece of comedy history at a used price.
