Monty Python's Flying Circus, Disc 4

Movie / Show Details

Monty Python’s Flying Circus is a sketch comedy series from the British troupe featuring Eric Idle, Graham Chapman, Carol Cleveland, Connie Booth, Bob Raymond, and Ian Davidson. Known for absurdist humor and surreal characters, the show’s satirical sketches influenced comedy worldwide. This disc collects the final four episodes of the first season, showcasing the group’s range from a record-breaking Channel crossing and cathedral-eating bit to a lion tamer job interview and a library hiring procedure reimagined with only animals as candidates. Episode 11 includes a murder mystery parody with a pile of dead detectives and a brick hypnotist, while Episode 12 features the Upper Class Twit of the Year competition alongside sketches about a politician falling through the earth’s crust and a political leader insisting on his non-German origins.

This is a single DVD from the first season of Monty Python’s Flying Circus. You’re getting the physical media that shaped comedy history, and at a used price that won’t drain your wallet.
