Inspector Clouseau is a 1968 British comedy directed by Bud Yorkin and written by Blake Edwards, Maurice Richlin, and Tom Waldman. Alan Arkin stars as the bumbling French detective Jacques Clouseau, who is borrowed by Scotland Yard to recover money stolen in the Great Train Robbery. The investigation becomes increasingly chaotic when the detective discovers the stolen funds are part of a larger criminal scheme, and complications spiral when multiple versions of Clouseau appear to be involved in the case, leading to a tangled web of mistaken identities across European banks.
