Movie / Show Details

Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi noir thriller follows retired blade runner Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, who is pulled back into service to track down a group of escaped replicants in a decaying 2019 Los Angeles. These artificial beings are desperate to extend their limited lifespans, and Deckard’s investigation leads him into contact with a mysterious woman whose true nature threatens to shake his understanding of what it means to be human. Sean Young and Rutger Hauer round out the cast in this visually striking exploration of identity and mortality set against a dystopian urban landscape.

This two-disc DVD edition presents Ridley Scott’s Final Cut, his definitive version of the film featuring extended scenes and newly restored special effects.
