Underwater Dreams, narrated by Michael Peña, is the true story of how the sons of undocumented Mexican immigrants learned how to build underwater robots. And defeat engineering powerhouse MIT in the process. This EDUCATIONAL version contains a shorter version of the film for classroom use (44 minutes), both in English and in Spanish. The curriculum is currently being developed by CUNY and a teaching guide will be delivered when the curriculum has been completed. NOTE – the EDUCATIONAL version also contains a separate disk with the original full length film (86 minutes). For educators, we recommend a PG-13 rating for the original full length film as there are two instances of mild profanity. These words have been deleted or bleeped out in the shorter version of the film. Narrated by Michael Peña. Written and Directed by Mary Mazzio. Funded by the Bezos Family Foundation and the Laurie M.
