Gangster Squad is a 2013 crime thriller directed by Ruben Fleischer and set in post-World War II Los Angeles. The film follows an elite police unit as they work to dismantle the criminal empire of ruthless mob boss Mickey Cohen, who has seized control of the city through corruption and violence. Josh Brolin leads the squad as a by-the-book detective, while Anthony Mackie, Michael Pena, and Giovanni Ribisi round out the team of officers tasked with breaking the mob’s grip on the city. Emma Stone appears as an escort caught between the underworld and the law.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Warner Bros. with a runtime of 1 hour and 53 minutes and an R rating for violence and language. The film blends noir atmosphere with action sequences and features a cast that also includes Holt McCallany. You can own this used copy for a fraction of what you’d pay for a new one.
