The Painted Stallion is a 1937 Western serial from Republic Pictures directed by Alan James, Ray Taylor, and William Witney. Starring Duncan Renaldo, Hoot Gibson, Ray Corrigan, and Sammy McKim, the film follows federal agent Clark Stuart as he travels to Santa Fe to broker a trade agreement with the Mexican governor. When the deposed former governor plots to sabotage the negotiations and attack an incoming wagon train, Stuart teams up with legendary frontiersmen Jim Bowie and Kit Carson to thwart the conspiracy and protect the valuable cargo headed for the territory.

This is a single-disc DVD presentation of the complete serial, running three hours and thirty-two minutes in black and white.
