Stephen Frears directed this 1990 crime drama about Roy Dillon, a small-time con artist who becomes entangled in a dangerous game when his estranged mother Lilly and his girlfriend Myra both enter his life. Anjelica Huston plays the ruthless Lilly, while Annette Bening portrays the seductive Myra, and both women are accomplished grifters operating at a much higher level than Roy. As Roy navigates between these two cunning women with their own competing agendas, passion and deception collide, leaving him uncertain about who is truly conning whom.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Miramax’s Collector’s Series, running 110 minutes and rated R for language and some sexuality. Based on Jim Thompson’s novel and adapted by Donald E.
