Based on Stephen King’s 1979 novel, The Dead Zone is a Canadian science fiction drama series adapted for television by Michael and Shawn Piller. Anthony Michael Hall stars as Johnny Smith, a high school teacher who awakens from a six-year coma following a devastating car accident to discover he has developed psychic abilities. By touching people or objects, Johnny experiences visions of past, future, and distant events, which he uses to help solve crimes and expose secrets in his small town. His return also reveals that his former fiancee has married the local sheriff and is raising their son together.

Season 4 arrives on three DVDs with a total runtime of eight hours and twenty-three minutes, rated TV-PG. USA Network produced this installment featuring Anthony Michael Hall, Chris Bruno, David Ogden Stiers, and other cast members, with direction by James Head, Jefery Levy, and Michael Robinson.
