Sanctuary is a 2008 Canadian science fiction fantasy series created by Damian Kindler and Martin Wood. Led by the brilliant Dr. Helen Magnus, played by Amanda Tapping, a secret team of investigators works to locate and protect mysterious creatures that exist hidden within human society. When forensic psychiatrist Will Zimmerman, portrayed by Robin Dunne, joins the group, he discovers a world far stranger and more dangerous than he ever imagined. Alongside Christopher Heyerdahl and Ryan Robbins, the team must confront terrifying beings while providing sanctuary for the monsters that dwell in the shadows.
