John Landis directed this 1980 musical comedy crime film starring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as Jake and Elwood Blues, two brothers on a mission to save the orphanage where they grew up. After Jake gets out of prison, he and Elwood reunite their band and hit the road to raise money, encountering legendary blues performers including Ray Charles, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Cab Calloway along the way. The film combines outrageous humor with spectacular musical performances and features an unforgettable high-speed chase through Chicago.

This two-disc DVD release from Universal Pictures includes both the expanded version and the original theatrical version, offering 133 minutes of entertainment. Bonus features cover the making of the film, music highlights, an introduction by Dan Aykroyd, behind-the-scenes stories from the tour, musical arrangement details, and production notes. Rated R, this used copy lets you own a comedy classic without breaking your budget.
