Follow that Bird is a 1985 musical comedy featuring the beloved characters from Sesame Street. Directed by Ken Kwapis and written by Judy Freudberg and Tony Geiss, the film blends live-action performances with puppet characters. When Big Bird is placed with a family of birds in Illinois, he becomes homesick and runs away to return to Sesame Street. His friends Oscar, the Count, and the rest of the gang set out on a cross-country adventure to bring him home before he gets into trouble.
