Ready for School is a 2007 Sesame Street educational special directed by Jim Martin, Ken Diego, and Ted May. Elmo joins his friends Gabi and Miles as they celebrate their high school graduation and reflect on cherished school memories, including singing, dancing, sharing artwork with classmates, and learning to cooperate with others. Baby Bear recalls his own nervousness on his first day at Storybook Community School and how Mother Goose helped ease his worries. Through these shared experiences, Elmo becomes increasingly enthusiastic about starting school himself. The program features songs and colorful characters designed to engage preschool and early elementary viewers.

This single-disc DVD has a runtime of 50 minutes and carries a not-rated designation. It includes the main feature plus a bonus segment, Abby’s First Day of School.
