Rising Damp is a British sitcom from the 1970s centered on the misadventures of tenants and their miserly, lecherous landlord Rigsby in a run-down London boarding house. Series 4, the final season, brings the comedy to a close with six episodes featuring the eccentric cast of characters. Rigsby’s schemes and romantic pursuits continue to clash with his long-suffering tenants, including the glamorous Miss Jones and the witty university student Philip, as Rigsby navigates unexpected inheritances, newfound religion, and the possibility of marriage.

This single-disc DVD release from Yorkshire Television contains approximately two hours and twenty-two minutes of the complete series, presented with production notes and cast filmographies. One of British television’s most beloved comedies, Rising Damp offers plenty of laughs across these closing episodes, and you can own this piece of classic sitcom history at a used price.
