This collection brings together three comedies from the 1980s starring John Candy in leading roles. Uncle Buck (1989), directed by John Hughes, follows a carefree bachelor who steps in to care for his nieces and nephews during a family crisis, discovering unexpected lessons about responsibility and connection. The Great Outdoors (1988) pits Candy’s family man against his brother-in-law, played by Dan Aykroyd, as their competing vacation styles clash at a lakeside retreat. Going Berserk (1983) reunites Candy with fellow SCTV performers for an absurdist comedy that channels the spirit of classic Marx Brothers humor. The ensemble casts also feature Annette Bening, Amy Madigan, and other supporting players across these family-friendly films.

Released on DVD by Universal Studios, this two-disc set runs four hours and thirty-six minutes and carries a not-rated designation. The collection includes a theatrical trailer for The Great Outdoors. Owning these physical media editions means you keep the films in your collection at a used price.
