Over California is a 2001 aerial documentary series that takes viewers on scenic tours across the state’s most iconic natural and man-made landmarks. Directed by Mark Pingry and Rick Rothschild, this Emmy-award winning program soars above California’s diverse geography, from the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Pacific coastline to deserts, redwood forests, vineyards, and glittering cities. The series features rare high-altitude views of celebrated destinations including the Golden Gate Bridge and Disneyland, all set to an original soundtrack that complements the stunning cinematography.

This Blu-ray release presents the documentary in high-definition across one disc with a five-minute runtime. Shot over the course of a full year and previously broadcast on public television, the program showcases California’s natural beauty and heritage through unique photographic perspectives and powerful imagery. You’ll own a hand-inspected copy of this visually captivating series at a fraction of the original retail cost.
