He Touched Me Vol. 1 & 2 is a 2000 documentary directed by Michael Merriman that examines Elvis Presley’s profound relationship with gospel music. Before becoming known as the king of rock and roll, Elvis was deeply devoted to gospel, a genre that shaped both his spiritual journey and his artistic path. The film features more than 30 of his gospel recordings alongside never-before-seen footage and personal accounts from people close to him. Viewers will learn how southern gospel quartets like the Statesmen and the Blackwood Brothers influenced Elvis, explore the controversy surrounding his “Peace In The Valley” performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, and discover the story behind his rendition of “How Great Thou Art.”

This two-disc DVD set runs three hours and is rated US Approved, released by Coming Home Studios. A used copy from us means you own this documentary without the new price tag.
