Keeping Up Appearances: Some Like It Hyacinth is the fourth season of this beloved British sitcom from 1990, created by Roy Clarke and directed by Harold Snoad. The series follows the relentlessly snobbish Hyacinth Bucket, who insists her surname be pronounced “Bouquet” as she schemes her way up the social ladder. Clive Swift stars as her patient husband Richard, while the ensemble cast includes their anxious neighbors and Hyacinth’s embarrassingly working-class relatives, all caught in her endless plots to impress society and outdo those around her.
