The Big Bang Theory is a comedy series that premiered in 2007 on CBS, created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. The show centers on Leonard and Sheldon, two brilliant but socially awkward physicists whose world shifts when Penny, a free-spirited woman, moves into the apartment next door. While Leonard finds himself drawn to Penny romantically, Sheldon maintains his characteristic aloofness toward human connection, creating a dynamic that drives much of the season’s humor and heart.
