Disturbia is a 2007 thriller directed by D.J. Caruso and starring Shia LaBeouf as Kale Brecht, a teenager struggling after his father’s death in a car accident. Sentenced to house arrest for assaulting his Spanish teacher, Kale finds himself with little to do but observe his neighbors through his window. His idle surveillance takes a dark turn when he witnesses what appears to be a murder occurring in the home of his neighbor, Mr. Turner, played by David Morse. Convinced he has uncovered evidence of a serial killer living nearby, Kale becomes consumed by his investigation, but dangerous encounters with Turner escalate the situation into a life-or-death game where the line between watcher and watched blurs dangerously.

This single-disc DVD release runs 1 hour and 45 minutes and carries an R rating from Dreamworks. The film also features Sarah Roemer, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Aaron Yoo in supporting roles as Kale’s world spirals into paranoia and obsession.
