This double feature pairs two comedies starring Dean Martin from the 1960s. In “Who Was That Lady?” (1960), directed by George Sidney, Martin plays a friend who helps his pal out of a jam when the man’s wife threatens divorce after catching him in a compromising moment. The two concoct an elaborate story that he works undercover for the FBI, but their scheme spirals into chaos when actual Russian spies get involved, leading to kidnapping and mayhem caught on television. “How to Save a Marriage and Ruin Your Life” (1968), directed by Fielder Cook, follows Martin as a single lawyer attempting to derail his friend’s affair by seducing the man’s secretary, only to find himself entangled in a bedroom farce of mistaken identities and romantic confusion.
