Founding Brothers is a 2002 PBS documentary miniseries directed by Melissa Jo Peltier that examines the formative years of the United States through the lives of seven key figures: George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, James Madison, and Aaron Burr. Based on Joseph Ellis’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, the series explores how these men debated, disagreed, and ultimately shaped the nation during its earliest decades, moving beyond the Revolutionary War to reveal the political struggles that defined the young republic.

This two-disc DVD set runs three hours and twenty minutes and features narration and appearances by Brian Dennehy, Edward Herrmann, Hal Holbrook, and James Woods, among others. The documentary is unrated and was produced by A&E. Owning this used copy lets you experience this acclaimed historical examination at a fraction of retail cost.
