Woody Allen wrote and directed this 1982 comedy about an inventor named Andrew and his wife Adrian, whose marriage has grown stale. When Andrew invites two couples to spend a weekend at his country home, romantic chaos ensues. A philosophy professor and his young fiancée arrive alongside a dentist and his free-spirited nurse, and soon everyone finds themselves tangled in mismatched desires and attraction. Set at the turn of the century, the film blends comedy with a touch of magic as the weekend unfolds toward an unexpected resolution.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Orion Pictures with an IMDb rating of 6.6. The film stars Allen, Mia Farrow, José Ferrer, Mary Steenburgen, Tony Roberts, and Julie Hagerty. Grab this used copy and enjoy Allen’s lighter take on romantic entanglement without the full retail price.
