Wild China is a six-part nature documentary series from 2008 produced by the BBC and China’s CTV. Directed by Charlotte Scott, Gavin Maxwell, and George Chan, the series is narrated by Bernard Hill and explores the diverse ecosystems and wildlife across China. From jumping spiders on Mount Everest to the Great Wall and giant pandas, the filmmakers capture both the country’s natural wonders and the daily lives of its people, including monks in monasteries and fishermen on waterways, presenting a portrait of a nation balancing modern development with traditional ways.
