Wanted is a 2008 action thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov and starring James McAvoy as Wesley, an ordinary office worker whose mundane life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters Fox (Angelina Jolie). She introduces him to the Fraternity, a clandestine society of assassins led by the mysterious Sloan (Morgan Freeman). Wesley learns that his father, a former member of the organization, was murdered, and he has been chosen to track down the rogue assassin responsible. As Wesley trains and prepares for his mission, he must unravel the Fraternity’s hidden truths to understand his own path forward. The film also features Lonnie “Common” Lynn, Terence Stamp, and Thomas Kretschmann in supporting roles.
