Robert Wise directed this 1965 musical drama set in Austria during the years leading up to World War II. Angela Cartwright, Charmian Carr, Christopher Plummer, Debbie Turner, Duane Chase, and Eleanor Parker star in the story of a young postulant who leaves the convent to work as a governess for seven children in the home of a widowed naval captain. As she brings music and warmth into their lives, she and the captain develop feelings for each other, while the family faces difficult choices as Nazi forces move to take control of Austria.

This full screen DVD edition runs two hours and fifty-four minutes and carries a US Approved rating (equivalent to G). Released by Twentieth Century Fox on a single disc, it presents the complete film. Own this beloved musical on physical media at a fraction of retail cost.
