The Simple Life: Season 1

Movie / Show Details

The Simple Life is an unscripted 2003 reality series that follows wealthy young women Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie as they leave their privileged Los Angeles lifestyle behind to live with an ordinary farm family in rural Arkansas for a month. The premise centers on whether these pampered socialites can adapt to rural life without their usual luxuries, leading to immediate culture clashes as they attempt various jobs on the farm and in the local community. Their lack of work experience and disconnect from everyday responsibilities create comedic and often uncomfortable moments throughout their stay.

This DVD release contains all seven episodes from season one of the Fox series, running approximately four hours and thirty minutes total with a TV-14 rating.
