The Prisoner is a 1960s British science-fiction drama series centered on a man held captive in a mysterious village where residents are identified only by numbers. Imprisoned as Number 6, the protagonist struggles against the Village’s attempts to break his will and extract information about his past. This set contains four episodes featuring Number 6’s encounters with various incarnations of Number 2, the Village’s authority figure, as he navigates psychological manipulation, escape attempts, and surreal experiments designed to control him.

Set 2 includes the episodes Checkmate, The Chimes of Big Ben, A, B and C, and The General as bonus content on one DVD. The cast features Alexis Kanner, Angelo Muscat, Christopher Benjamin, Fenella Fielding, Frank Maher, and George Markstein. Owning this used copy lets you experience the series’ distinctive blend of espionage intrigue and philosophical questioning at a fraction of retail cost.
