The Other Guys (Rated)

Movie / Show Details

Directed by Adam McKay, The Other Guys is a 2010 comedy following two New York City police detectives stuck behind a desk who finally get their shot at a real investigation. Will Ferrell plays a mild-mannered police accountant paired with Mark Wahlberg’s volatile hothead, recently demoted after an incident involving a famous baseball player. As the duo navigate their precinct alongside flashier supercops played by Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Keaton’s no-nonsense captain, they uncover a case involving a corrupt billionaire Wall Street figure. The film balances sharp comedy with crime-movie parody, giving both leads room to explore their contrasting characters while Eva Mendes rounds out the cast.
