The Opera Band is a 2004 classical-pop album by Amici Forever, a five-member international vocal ensemble trained in opera, accompanied by the Budapest Film Orchestra. The group reinterprets beloved operatic arias and classical themes through a contemporary crossover lens, blending traditional sources with modern arrangements. The album features works including The Pearl Fishers, Faure’s Pavane, and Elgar’s Enigma Variations, alongside reworked versions of Alex North’s Unchained Melody and the theme from the miniseries Band of Brothers, all presented with lush vocal harmonies and neo-classical orchestration.

This CD contains the complete album with a runtime of approximately 45 minutes, released on the Decca label. Notable tracks include Prayer In The Night, Senza Catene (Unchained Melody), Canto Alla Vita, Vita Mia, Requiem For A Soldier (Theme From Band Of Brothers), Whisper Of Angels, The Pearl Fishers (Au Fond Du Temple Saint), Soave Sia Il Vento, and Nimrod. Add this crossover gem to your collection at a used price that beats buying it new.
