This DVD brings together two comedies from the late 1970s and 1980s. The Longshot, released in 1986, follows an ex-convict navigating life at the racetrack in a lighthearted romp. They Went That-A-Way & That-A-Way, from 1978, is a slapstick comedy centered on two con artists getting into various misadventures. The ensemble cast includes Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, Fred Covington, and Joe Dorsey, with direction by Edward J. Montagne, Paul Bartel, and Stuart E. McGowan.

This is a single-disc DVD release from MGM/UA with a combined runtime of three hours and seventeen minutes and carries a not-rated designation. A double feature on one disc offers a pair of comedies from a fun era of humor, and you can own this used copy for a fraction of what a new one would cost.
