Set seventy years after Avatar: The Last Airbender, this animated series follows Korra, a spirited young woman from the Southern Water Tribe who is the new Avatar. Against the guidance of her protectors, Korra ventures to Republic City to hone her elemental bending abilities. Her journey takes a dangerous turn when she encounters Amon, a masked leader of the Equalists movement, whose followers seek to strip bending from the world. Korra and her allies must confront this growing threat to protect their city and preserve the balance of their world.
