The Kingston Trio Story: Wherever We May Go is a 2006 documentary that revisits the folk group fifty years after their 1957 debut. Featuring rare television and concert performances alongside interviews with band members and associates, the film traces how the Kingston Trio brought folk music to mainstream audiences before Dylan and other folk acts rose to prominence. The documentary emphasizes their groundbreaking first decade, when original members Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds worked alongside Dave Guard and later John Stewart, exploring how the group blended pop, calypso, Hawaiian, and other musical styles while recording hits like “Tom Dooley” and “M.T.A.”

This single-disc DVD release runs 90 minutes and comes from Shout Factory. Grab this used copy and own a piece of folk music history at a fraction of retail cost.
