The Kidnappers is a 1953 British-Canadian family drama directed by Philip Leacock and written by Neil Paterson. Set in Nova Scotia, the film follows two Scottish orphan brothers who live with their distant, self-centered grandfather, played by Duncan Macrae. Starved for affection and companionship, the boys find an abandoned baby and decide to keep it as their own, setting off a chain of events that brings police and desperate parents searching through the countryside. The story blends touching emotional moments with comedic elements as the brothers navigate the consequences of their well-intentioned but misguided decision.

This is a single-disc DVD release from United Artists with a runtime of 93 minutes and an unrated rating. The film marks its first appearance on DVD and features a cast including Adrienne Corri, Francis De Wolff, Jack Stewart, Jean Anderson, and James Sutherland.
