The Guns of Will Sonnett is a Western television series from 1967 produced by Aaron Spelling. The show follows Will Sonnett, a retired army scout, and his grandson Jeff as they travel across the American frontier searching for James Sonnett, Jeff’s father and a notorious gunfighter who abandoned his family two decades earlier. Their journey brings them into contact with people whose lives have been shaped by James and his violent past, though the elusive gunman remains difficult to locate. The cast includes Dack Rambo as Jeff, alongside character actors Claude Akins and Harry Dean Stanton, with appearances from rising talents including Charles Grodin, Dennis Hopper, and Jack Nicholson.
