Takashi Shimizu directs this 2004 horror thriller starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as an American nurse working in Tokyo who becomes entangled with a supernatural curse. The malevolent spirit consumes its victims in a rage of vengeance before the curse spreads to others, trapping those who encounter it in an inescapable cycle of terror.

The unrated extended director’s cut includes Shimizu’s early short films “4444444444” and “In a Corner” as prototypes for the feature, director commentary, deleted scenes, video diaries with Gellar and KaDee Strickland, storyboard art, and a tour of the Grudge House with set designer sketches.
