The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is a 2006 action thriller directed by Justin Lin that follows a street racer who relocates to Tokyo to avoid jail time. Once there, he becomes immersed in the city’s underground drift racing culture and finds himself entangled with the Japanese underworld. To survive and compete, he must learn drifting, a high-speed racing technique where modified cars slide through sharp turns at extreme speeds. The film stars Bow Wow, Brandon Brendel, Brian Goodman, Brian Tee, Damien Marzette, and Leonardo Nam, and was written by Chris Morgan.
