The Box is a 2009 sci-fi thriller directed by Richard Kelly and based on a story by Richard Matheson. Set in 1976, the film follows Norma and Arthur Lewis, a suburban couple whose ordinary life is disrupted when a mysterious stranger with a severely disfigured face arrives at their home. He presents them with an unsettling proposition: a box containing a button that will award them one million dollars if pressed, but pressing it will result in the death of someone unknown to them. With only 24 hours to decide, Norma and Arthur grapple with an impossible moral choice, unaware that their decision will trigger consequences far beyond their control or imagination. Cameron Diaz and James Marsden star as the couple, alongside Frank Langella, Holmes Osborne, James Rebhorn, and others.

This single-disc DVD release runs 95 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Warner Bros. Owning a used copy means you get the film on physical media at a fraction of what a new purchase would cost.
