Step Up: Revolution is a 2012 dance-romance drama directed by Scott Speer and written by Amanda Brody and Duane Adler. Set in Miami, the film follows Emily, an aspiring professional dancer played by Kathryn McCormick, who falls for Sean, the leader of a local dance crew portrayed by Ryan Guzman. Their budding romance becomes complicated when Emily’s father’s real estate development threatens to displace Sean’s neighborhood, forcing the two to navigate conflicting loyalties. The ensemble cast includes Alyson Stoner, Cleopatra Coleman, Misha Gabriel Hamilton, and Stephen Boss.
