State Fair is a 1945 musical comedy from Twentieth Century Fox directed by Walter Lang. The film follows the Frake family as they attend the Iowa State Fair, where father hopes to win with his prize pig while mother competes in cooking contests. Their children find romance and excitement amid the festivities, with daughter Margy drawn to someone beyond her current fiancé and her brother meeting a big-band singer. Featuring music by Rodgers and Hammerstein, the film captures a rural American charm with its lighthearted blend of family drama, romance, and musical numbers.

This single-disc DVD release runs 100 minutes and carries a US Approved rating. Twentieth Century Fox’s restoration presents the film in its original format, showcasing the period appeal and musical performances that define this mid-century family entertainment.
