Snake Eyes is a 1998 crime thriller directed by Brian De Palma and starring Nicolas Cage as a corrupt homicide detective. While attending a championship boxing match, Cage’s character witnesses the assassination of the Secretary of Defense. Complicating matters, the Secretary’s aide is played by Gary Sinise, an old friend of Cage’s detective. As the cop attempts to piece together what happened from conflicting witness accounts, he finds himself drawn into a dangerous web of conspiracy and deception.
