Raging Bull (2-disc Collector Set Special Edition)

Movie / Show Details

Martin Scorsese’s 1980 biographical drama follows Jake LaMotta, a boxer whose exceptional talent and fierce aggression in the ring are matched only by his destructive behavior outside it. Robert De Niro stars as the troubled fighter, with Joe Pesci as his long-suffering brother and Cathy Moriarty as LaMotta’s glamorous wife. Shot in striking black-and-white, the film captures both the brutality of the sport and the psychological turmoil of its protagonist, examining how LaMotta’s jealousy and temper poison his personal relationships even as he achieves success in the boxing world.
