Point of No Return is a 1993 action thriller directed by John Badham and written by Alexandra Seros, Luc Besson, and Robert Getchell. Bridget Fonda stars as Maggie Hayward, a hardened criminal whose violent behavior leads to a death sentence. Before her execution can be carried out, a mysterious government agent known as Bob, played by Gabriel Byrne, stages her death and recruits her for a covert program. Maggie undergoes intensive training to become a highly skilled assassin, conditioned into absolute obedience for black-ops missions. Anne Bancroft, Dermot Mulroney, and Miguel Ferrer round out the cast in this tense thriller about transformation and control.
