Pixar Animation Studios assembled this 2006 collection of animated short films that laid the foundation for the studio’s feature-length successes. Created by filmmakers including Brad Bird and Mark Andrews, these shorts showcase the evolution of computer animation from early experiments like “Luxo, Jr.” to later pieces exploring new artistic techniques and revisiting beloved characters from Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. The collection demonstrates how these films served as a training ground for artists to develop the skills and creative vision that would define Pixar’s landmark features.

This single-disc DVD release from Pixar Animation Studios contains approximately 90 minutes of family-friendly animation with an IMDb rating of 8.1. Grab this used copy and own a piece of animation history at a fraction of the original retail cost.
