Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 Disney animated adventure-comedy directed by Rich Moore and starring John C. Reilly as the title character, a video-game villain tired of being overshadowed by his game’s hero, Fix-It Felix Jr. (Jack McBrayer). Ralph decides to jump between arcade games to reinvent himself as a hero, traveling through Sugar Rush, a racing game, and Hero’s Duty, an action game. Along the way he encounters Vanellope (Sarah Silverman), a glitch in Sugar Rush, and Sergeant Calhoun (Jane Lynch), a tough soldier. Ralph’s journey becomes complicated when he accidentally releases a dangerous cybug into Sugar Rush, threatening the entire arcade. The film also features Alan Tudyk, Ed O’Neill, and Mindy Kaling.
