Pink Floyd: London 66-67 is a concert film from 1967 directed by Peter Whitehead that captures the band’s classic late-60s lineup in rare performance footage. Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Rick Wright, and Nick Mason are documented playing at Sound Techniques London in January 1967, where they recorded what became the definitive version of “Interstellar Overdrive” along with “Nick’s Boogie.” The film also features the band performing at the UFO club, an underground venue that helped birth a new style of musical improvisation, and includes footage from the legendary 14-hour Technicolor Dream event held at Alexandra Palace in April 1967.
