Over British Columbia is a 2002 scenic documentary directed by Gary McCartie that takes viewers on a helicopter journey across Canada’s Pacific province. Narrated by David Hoole, the film travels from Victoria to Fort Nelson, showcasing the region’s most striking natural and urban landscapes. Audiences experience aerial views of snow-capped mountains, pristine lakes, rocky coastlines, and wildlife including bald eagles, orcas, and bears. The tour highlights landmarks such as Mount Robson, Whistler Blackcomb, the Alaska Highway, and the Gulf Islands, while also featuring the cities of Vancouver and Victoria, including the illuminated Butchart Gardens and iconic structures like Science World.
